History

Growing since 1975

Lincoln Enterprise Park, formerly known as Poskitts Equestrian Centre, has a rich history that reflects adaptability and forward-thinking. Originally opening its doors in 1975, the site was developed into a thriving livery and riding school, as well as a large events arena, serving a wide range of equestrian activities. However, in 2005, a strategic review of the business’s resources and potential led to a shift in direction.

The decision was made to repurpose the site for light industrial and storage uses, recognizing the area’s prime suitability for these functions. In July 2005, a change of use was granted for B1, B2, and B8 classifications, which include offices, industrial processes, and storage or distribution. This change was met with overwhelming support from North Kesteven District Council (NKDC), highlighting the local community’s backing for the new direction.

As a result, in the winter of 2005, the first phase of the site’s conversion began, marking the start of what would become a significant transformation into Lincoln Enterprise Park. This new focus on business spaces for small to medium enterprises, warehousing, and industrial use has positioned the park as a key destination for business growth.

The site has remained under the same family ownership since 1975, maintaining a strong foundation of long-term commitment and stability.
